Walt Disney had a crazy idea to develop a theme park like no other in industry. Disney had a huge problem, he didn't had the funds to turn his dream into reality. He had a brilliant idea to repurpose his Cartoons into TV Series and sell to a major TV network. After being turned down by others, a struggling ABC takes Walt up on his offer.
The $5 Million Deal was Walt's original budget for Disneyland. Walt preemptively Markets Disneyland's Construction with breaks within the 5 TV Series. Disney underbudgeted and the park was an astounding $15 Million but was welcomed by a sold out Grand Opening that of course was televised. To this day, Special Events are still occasionally broadcasted Live, footage is still utilized 70 years later.
Henry Ford launches the Film & Photography Department in 1914 with 2 purposes, film & document Henry Ford himself & Ford's revolutionary Assembly Line Process. The first film produced “How Henry Ford Makes 1,000 Cars a Day” focused on the Assembly Line, Safety & Reliability of Ford vehicles. The production simply Marketed & Sold more cars.
Ford Motor Company became one of the largest Film Producers in the World for many Years. Some of the original footage is still utilized 110 Years Later.
